t-minus 1 day

we leave TOMORROW. yes, TOMORROW. that is really close to today.

i am really excited. and nervous. and anxious. and overwhelmed. i can't believe the day has finally arrived. TOMORROW i will be leaving the states for a long while.

today we will be going to brunch with lyndall in huntington beach. then drinks and appetizers with itzy and roberto. i woke up too early. i can't sleep too well. i am using this morning time to burn all my cd's in my car carrying case onto my computer so i can have some newer tunes on my ipod for the long trip over the oceans. see, trying to be productive.

yesterday my brother came down from la to hang out with us. we just lazed around. we didn't do anything in particular. we watched tv, had dinner with my parents and grandma, then watched more tv. it was nice to just relax and do nothing at all.

mike and i ran a couple errands yesterday as well. we went to the mission viejo library and bought some books from the dewey bookstore. we got 6 books for about $6, which was a a steal since that's how much one book would cost even on discount. we wanted to get books that we could just leave behind for the next lonely traveler. i limited myself to 3 chick lit novels since i should be spending some time studying for my foreign boards too.

i have to spend some time today going through all my crap in my suitcase. i am trying to thin it down some. they are just so massive. oh, and yesterday i realized that i forgot my brand new hiking boots at my aunt's house in san jose. i thought my shoe bag seemed light. so, i had to replace them yesterday...glad we found them....but boy, am i an idiot!

i guess it is time to get ready for my day!
