goodbye...

...to the element. mike sold his car today. that car was good to us. helped us through 2 moves. got us to tahoe many times in the snow and sun. took us on the road to freedom since april 2005.

...to susie, our little hawaiian gecko. she escaped from her temporary cage, and is probably wandering around my aunt's huge house looking for bugs. she somehow got away the other day. my uncle asked what was in there, and when i went to look for her, she was gone. i am a little sad b/c i didn't get to say goodbye. we were planning on releasing her in the wild soon, probably this weekend, so i am not too bummed. i hope she gets out into the outdoors though. i wouldn't want her to die inside the house. i am glad that she hadn't lost her instinct to break free from her captive environment.

...to our super nice tv. we sold a lot of stuff from our old apartment. the bed, the dresser, but it was especially hard to see our tv go. it was so nice. and the jackass that bought it got a great deal, even if he tried to swindle us out of 75 bucks. what a moron! and he stole my 5 dollars. what a cheap mother f**ker. i dislike people that are out to get crap for free. i was firm on the amount...he was already getting it for close to nothing. urgh. self righteous prick. i am glad that he is a stranger that we will never have to deal with ever again.

...to our little apartment 517. the place that we lived for the first 3 years of our life together. the place we called home after we were engaged and married. the place we planned our wedding. the place where we had a spa/pool and met some of the most amazing friends ever. i will miss that little place.

anyhoo, i am getting all crazy emotional and reminiscent. i think it is b/c we only have less than 3 months left here in the united states. it is so weird, and huge, and exciting. i am not really ready for the time to breeze by so fast. there are so many loose ends i want to tie up. there are so many places that i want to visit one last time.

i guess i better get to all those things.
