jackpots please!

going to reno tomorrow. gonna see chris issak. hope to win a million dollars. mike's gonna eat his last awful awful for a while. see, we are doing this, "this is the last time" thing. it is fun. all the things we want to do here in the states before we depart. not a bucket list. we have a long way to go for that one.

today we are going to have a night out in the city with gp and nat. nat is here from ireland for her u.s. immigration interview. then they will both go back to dublin together. gp will be back in a couple weeks. back to tonight. we are going to cajun pacific, which is a restaurant in the outer sunset that mike's brother used to run. cute little place with a few tables and amazing cajun food. will be great to see them both. this really will be the last time we see natalie for a while. i think we will be gone when she comes back to palo alto at the end of september/beginning of october.

technically, i have today off. i am gonna go in to work to visit my boss, vicky, who i have not seen in about a month. with my trip to germany, and her trip to colorado, we have totally missed each other. hopefully she will have time to grab a bite and catch up!

i have not been exercising at all this week. i have intentions of going, but i am too lazy and tired to go after work. and the apple gym is so much further from me now. it is a pain to drive all the way there. i am trying to get a month gym pass at a local gym in ssj, but so far, i haven't gotten much response from my inquiries yet, and i have not been very proactive about following up at all. so, both our bads.

i have also not had a minute to study. i have been a super procrastinator...with everything, studying, blogging, emailing, etc. however, i am doing my continuing education units now. i just renewed my license, and i need 30 CEs in the next 2 years. i figure i can bust them all out now (or september 1, 2008), and be done with that for the next couple years. yeah, long story about how i managed to jump the gun and screw myself. no need to bore you with that just yet.
today, i do plan to do some studying. i would also like to get a haircut and get my passport photos certified so i can mail off my application for my nz pharmacy boards. yikes...i need to win the jackpot this weekend to pay for the exam! it's about 800 smackers.

did i tell you that i was planning to start a 365 day project when we started our trip in october? what is it you ask? it is a project where you take a photo everyday and post it on your blog/website frequently. for fun, for memories, for shits and giggles. i thought it might be cool to do this while we are MIA from the USA. maybe i should start sooner. let's see if that happens.
