where do i start?

we have been gone from the states for over a month. we have been in new zealand for 2 weeks. there is so much to tell you. i don't know where to even start, especially since i am so far behind on the updates. sorry.

i guess the coolest thing to happen lately is that we found a place to live here in wellington. we are sharing a flat with another 30 year old couple, alec and elaine, in the suburb of hataitai. we live up on a hill, close to the mount victoria lookout point. we have a gorgeous deck, with awesome views of the bay towns below. also, we have a lovely yard. the house is 2 stories, so mike and i basically have our own floor, with our room and own bathroom. right now we are sleeping on an air mattress, but i am hoping to get a bed and a small desk soon. maybe this weekend we will have to do some furniture shopping. so, i am excited that we have a place to call home nowadays.

i have been trying my hardest to be motivated and study for this exam coming up in december. i have been spending large quantities of time at starbucks studying over vanilla lattes. hopefully i am learning and retaining stuff! most of it is review. i am hoping i am still in a pretty good place for it!
