packing/moving frenzy

definitely getting down to the wire.

we went to dinner last night with stella and leo. we took them to our favorite sushi place. it was good, as always. i think they liked it :)

after dinner, mike and i came home and continued our packing frenzy. he was packing up the living room, and taking apart our coffee table and pantry cart. i went on an obsessive cleaning spree of the kitchen. i emptied out cupboards, cleaned the cabinets, and used half a bottle of fantastic to clean the walls, microwave, frig inside and out, as well as the top of the frig. it was gross, and i was glad to have a couple pairs of vinyl gloves to save my hands from all the chemicals.

this morning, i made a run to goodwill, and i have already filled another whole bin of donations. after dosas for lunch with the boys, i made a trip down to lily's house to take my stuff over: my suitcase, files, workout stuff, toiletries, wedding gown, groceries. it was a lot of work and i am tired already. i still have to load up mike's car for our run this evening, before dinner at loretta's house. i want to hold baby cara!

so, t-minus 2 days to get out of this apartment. we are getting there. slowly but surely!
