water babies

last night mike and i had some mexican food in downtown mountain view. we should have walked down there, but i was too hungry, and couldn't muster the energy or mood to make it. so we drove. afterwards, we walked to the post office, and went home. i was feeling like a big bloated turkey, so we decided to go to the pool and take a little dip. i swam about 14 mini laps (our pool length is pretty short), and some little water ab crunches, then sat myself right into the spa. my arms are sore this morning!

pretty soon, we won't be living in our complex and spending our evenings at the jacuzzi that we love so much. and they finally fixed the jets, and put them on a timer. about time. it was broken and unpredictable for months. time to bid farewell to the spa, but not the memories made there. it's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since we met the germans and canadians and the swiss guy. finally, finally, finally we are going to visit the germans. i am excited.

p.s. phil, since i am quite positive you are the only person who reads this blog, i got notice yesterday that your tent has been shipped. i think it is coming only from oregon, so it will be here shortly. yeah for you and fancy red tents! :)

tonight i work till 11pm. boo. i don't like that. but, the saving grace is that today is my friday, and i am off the rest of the week and weekend. perfect timing for the coordination of baby sitting and baby dropping. speaking of birthing, we should hear from loretta today about when she will be admitted to the hospital for her induction.

and speaking of birthdays, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to jenn and serena. old friends...really old, they are both 30 today! and oh my, how time has flown by! cheers and well wishes to you...and i am so envious that sunny and the gang are all going to las vegas to party it up this weekend. i will be thinking of them!

baby update: loretta will go to the hospital tomorrow night. so, we will stay in san jose with annie. slumber party central!

time check: 10:30am. just got back from my run. was a good workout. longer and better than monday afternoon's crappy run. i feel a lot better now. gotta get all showered up in anticipation of my very long day ahead.
